Our Sustainability Campaign

Aware of the environmental problems (such as global warming, marine pollution and excessive use of resources), it is clear that we need to change the way we think and act.

As a manufacturer of packaging materials and security seals, we take our responsibility and we will comply our role to make our clients aware of the correct segregation for recycling and reuse, focused on improving the environment. Our products are subjected to a critical examination, taking into account the circular economy as a way of giving new life to plastic products already consumed. Our goal is to reinforce the sustainability of recycling companies and reverse logistics of our products, always focusing on international standards.

What sustainable products we offer?

We have a big portfolio with many sustainable products:

1. Products containing up to 75% post-consumer recycled material (post-consumer recycled - PCR);
2. Products containing up to 75% post-consumer recycled material (post consumer recycled - PCR) + enzyme additive (biodegradable);
3. Plastic products containing enzyme additive (biodegradable);Plastic products containing oxy-biodegradable additive;
4. Plastic products of renewable origin (I´m Green Line);
5. Products containing a percentage of pre-industrial consumption (PCI).

Why we choose PCR?

Post consumer recycled plastic envelopes (PCR) are made with materials collected from end users, promoting the reuse of raw materials and reducing plastic waste in the environment.

The PCR products manufactured at ELC uses up to 75% of the post-consumer content.

Our PCR products are certified by the EUCertPlast. This guarantees a good performance and reliability of the final properties of the product (mechanical and chemical).

Our PCR products also have a seal certified by ISO 14021.

PCR USE

More and more, we use recycled plastics and give them a "second life". After their use, these products can return to the recycling cycle. This is an important step to save resources and protect the environment.
