Internal Actions

ELC promotes internally a set of actions that aim at the social development of our employees, the awareness and the promotion of health, celebrating special dates, integrating employees with society and enhancing self-esteem and welfare, what raises awareness of the importance of constructing a better future.

ELC also prioritizes the educational development of our employees, through a partnership with the Adults’ and Teenagers’ Educational Center, as well as the Educational Support Planning, in order to sponsor technical courses, undergraduate and post-graduate degrees.

Additionally, there is the program of inclusion of deafs, which was widely praised by the Hearing Impared People Association in Paraíba do Sul as well as by the inspection of the Regional Labor Office. Not only it includes them in the market, but it also promotes their socialization and individual and professional development of disabled people.

Social Projects

Children are the future of any nation and ELC believes that they can make a better society and that it is important they have access to quality care, hygiene, leisure time and attention.

In 2004, ELC has donated to the city of Paraíba do Sul an area of 55,000 m² to build a daycare in the neighborhood. In a partnership with the Eduardo Eugênio Gouveia Vieira Daycare, ELC has provided some space and medical assistance to all kids enrolled. We also organize lectures for the parents, in order to instruct them about the basic care with their children. Also, at Christmas, the kids receive presents due to ELC’s toy donation campaign and at Easter, they receive some chocolate.

Environmental Responsibility

ELC believes that the environment preservation is the basis to guarantee a successful future for the next generations. Consequently, our compromise with the environment is related to our strategic planning. As an innovative company when it comes to the production of anti-tampering devices, our processes are planned and established in accordance with this concern.

Our reforestation efforts are also worth mentioning and the Environment Week is an example, when some initiatives that focus on awareness are undertaken, such as lectures in the community and exchange fairs.

ELC in action

ELC believes that a better society is developed through actions. Our social commitment goes beyond developing sustainable products. We believe that the social commitment begins with the internal relations, raising aware citizens that are able to participate actively in society.

The program ELC in action aims to elaborate a set of internal and external actions in order to contribute with health, quality of life, helping others and the environment preservation. Therefore, ELC has been developing and supporting environmental, social and cultural actions, as well as motivating volunteers to work in initiatives that benefit both internal and external publics.
